Monbahus Primary School

With 62 pupils in Monbahus and 22 in Montignac de Lauzun, the schools provide good learning environments. The pupils follow the rhythm scolaire curriculum for Cycle 1 & 2 of the French education system. They have recently been involved in a project that teaches how to deal with recycling, linked to the Communauté des Communes du pays de Lauzun.

The older students also benefit from having a trimester that includes swimming lessons at Malbente pool.
At Monbahus, 3 classes have taken part in the literary competition of the Incorruptibles, 2 classes have dance incorporated thanks to a professional dancer and 2 classes will contribute to attend Ciné 4 thanks to the departamental project ‘School and Cinema’.

All of these projects are funded by the municipal budget, fundraising from the resources of the School’s association and the good will of the accompanying adults, parents and grand-parents.

The school accepts children from the age of 3 years old.
