Policy & Fees

Requirements
When a child enters The Old School, parents are required to submit the following:

A completed registration form

In addition, parents will be asked to provide a record or report from the child's previous school.


Fees - Schedule and Information – September 2022

Annual Fees
Admission fee: To cover the cost of processing the child’s admission.
A non-refundable down payment of €250 is due on application.

Registration fee: €250 to be paid every year at the time of registration.

We provide individual education programs therefore the fees vary on a student by student basis. However, as an example, the annual fees for a student attending school for a minimum of 26 hours per week is in the region of €10,500, approximately €3,500 per term.

For students over the age of 16 and studying at A Level the annual fees are in the region of €9,000, approximately €3,000 per term, depending on the number of A levels being studied.

Extra coordination and mentoring for the student from Joel Bailey, Director of Learning. This covers all reviews of progress, parent/teacher meetings, any necessary intervention and support for the student. €550 Euros per student per academic year.

One off fee
A Capital Fund payment of €500 per family is required upon enrolment in year 1 only. Dedicated to the improvements of the buildings.


The Old School is a not-for-profit organisation and aims to keep fees at an affordable level to ensure that costs are not a barrier to entry for most families. A number of payment options are available to help parents meet the costs of education at the school.


Tuition fees cover the cost of classroom instruction and supervision.
Books, workshops, laboratory materials, extra revision sessions, art equipment, non residential and residential outings which are a mandatory part of the curriculum are not included in the school fees.

Intensive English classes (ESL) for non-English speakers during the first year are NOT included in the school fees.

After school activities/Clubs: are NOT included in the school fees.

Exam costs
The cost of registration and the cost of Edexcel exams are NOT included in the school fees. The fees for entry to IGCSE and GCSE examinations are from €150 per unit registration. For A Level entries the fees are €150 per unit entry. Please note some of the GCSE, AS and A2 examinations require 2 or more unit entries.

GCSE Art & Design and Resistant Materials entries incur charges for moderation, postage and presentation. Prices on application.

LATE Exam Entry
All examination entries received after the late entry deadline for each examination series will be subject to an increased unit cost of €250.

Students will be admitted at the school's opening date in September 2021, provided there are places available and provided the applicants have submitted an Admissions File. Admission in the middle of the year can also be accepted.

1. The Student Registration Application Form completed and signed by the parents or legal guardian.
2. Admission and Registration fee of €500 plus €500 Capital fee to reserve a place.
3. School report from exiting school.
4. Declaration of any Special Needs provision of existing Educational Psychology report.

Upon receipt of the registration application, the school will send you an administration forms including; Image Consent Form, Home School Agreement and a Medical Record Form
