Attending school with the correct equipment is vital in ensuring that pupils can participate fully in lessons.
Please consider the equipment listed below as essential:
- Agenda or diary, day per page – to note down homework assignments
- Pens (good quality) Black, blue, red and green. (not gel pens)
- Pencils and colouring pencils (not felt tips that soak through paper)
- Pencil sharpener
- Correcting fluid or tape
- Eraser
- Ruler
- Stapler
- Pair of scissors
- Highlighter pens
- Pencil case
- Glue / Pritt stick
- French / English dictionary
- English dictionary
- (RS) Folder
- (English) A4 Ring binder
For each subject you will need the following:A4 or larger exercise books, available at E Leclerc, Action, Intermarche etc (at least 96 pages recommended), one exercise book must be squared rather than lined for Mathematics.
For Art & Design you will need the following :- A1 college art case / portfolio
- Small toolbox
- Chalk pastels
- Oil pastels
- Watercolours
- Drawing pencils
The Old School has a supply of artists equipment that is available for purchase. Please ask for details and prices.
If possible, it is recommended each student bring their own laptop to school.
A list of text and exercise books for each subject will be issued by the school at the beginning of the school year.
Mathematical instruments : Protractor and set square, pair of compasses, angle measurer and a real calculator, specifically a scientific calculator but not a graphical calculator (not a mobile phone).
A robust bag which is suitable for carrying books and files and keeping them in good order.
Pupils are responsible for the safekeeping of text books and equipment issued to them and used in lessons. Any losses will be charged at the cost of replacement plus shipping.
