Image

With students who would normally be sitting in classrooms, learning in lockdown could have proved to be a challenge. However, the transition to online learning has been a valuable experience for teachers, students and parents.

Teachers have overcome significant demands and changes to traditional working practices, with impressive skill and commitment.

The Old School is pleased to announce almost 96% success in screen time delivery.

Students have been able to continue their lessons and have adapted to this new way of working with only a few problems and mainly of a technical nature and not academic.

The student cohort have also been involved in social and interactive education via Zoom and Skype.

Parent updates and meetings have been held, with progress reported on a regular basis.

Well done to all involved.

Moving forward, the team at The Old School have adapted and developed new strategies and skills to address anywhere and anytime learning.

The online learning zone is now active and subject specialists are reflecting on their new experiences.

New policies and guidelines are being developed to take advantage of sharing high quality education with the widest of communities.
