Theatre School Summer Weekend Workshop
Saturday 10th June
A challenging and fun weekend of intensive workshops in music, drama and dance, culminating in a performance at the end of the workshop.
You will be involved in producing and starring in a professional-quality theatre production. Uniquely, you will get a chance to develop skills in all aspects of performance, with intensive workshops in singing, drama and dance.
The weekend culminates in a public performance on Sunday 11th June, at the Salle des Fêtes in St Colomb de Lauzun.
Students will have the opportunity to encourage and inspire one another and work as a team, building confidence in a positive yet challenging environment.
All levels are welcome. Age 8 -16.

Paola Bottomley: Singing/Music
Paola is Head of Music and Performing Arts at The Old School and Professor of Pop and Jazz Voice at the Conservatoire of Bordeaux. She has extensive experience as a Vocal coach and Musical Director. She has a Masters degree from The Royal Academy of Music, London.
Emily Chevalier: Drama
Emily is head of Meledrama, an association which specialises in providing educational language based theatre workshops all over France. She studied Drama at The Royal Scottish School of Drama and has been teaching theatre internationally for over 15 years.
Sarita Cameron: Dance
Sarita Cameron is an experienced Dance teacher, teaching in many schools in the Lot et Garonne. She studied at The Royal Academy of Dance and has a degree in English and Theatre studies.

15/1, 29/1,12/2, 5/3, 19/3, 2/4 10am till 1pm
Final showcase 9/4 evening
Price: 120 euros per child. Sibling discount half price for second child.
The Old School, St Colomb de Lauzun
Ages: 8 - 16 years of age
Experience: Course will be mainly delivered in English, however all tutors speak French fluently and welcome French students to put on a multilingual performance. Previous experience not essential but enthusiasm is a must!
